I'm Morgan, the founder of Free Dad Hugs. Our mission is to embrace the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies with open arms and open hearts—cultivating a world where love and acceptance are boundless.
We show up. At Pride events, in communities, and wherever someone needs to know they are seen, valued, and loved. We offer hugs, hope, kindness, and a genuine safe space because everyone deserves to feel that.

It started with one simple, life-changing hug.
It all began with a hug—but not just any hug. I witnessed, first-hand, how transformational it can be when someone finally feels loved for who they are, exactly as they are.
Somewhere in the middle of the noise and the loneliness, one question wouldn't let go: What if love just showed up? What if a stranger wearing a shirt that said "Free Dad Hugs" could speak louder than rejection ever did?
That's not a marketing idea. That's a calling. Free Dad Hugs is my answer to it—a way to stand in the gap when family can't or won't, and to say with our presence, "You have someone in your corner."

Free Dad Hugs is an affirming, trauma-aware space for the entire LGBTQIA+ community, their families, and allies—rooted in the belief that chosen family is real family.
We affirm transgender, nonbinary, and gender-nonconforming individuals, people of all races, ethnicities, abilities, body sizes, and backgrounds. This is not a "love the sinner" space—it is a fully affirming community.
We explicitly welcome LGBTQIA+ youth and adults, parents and family members at every stage of their journey, allies who are still learning, and anyone who has ever needed a hug and didn't have someone to give them one.
You do not need to be out. You do not need to have it figured out. You are welcome here exactly as you are. And if your family of origin cannot be there, your chosen family—Free Dad Hugs—will.
